Christ College, Irinjalakuda is one of the renowned educational institutions in Kerala with a time-honoured tradition, affiliated accredited by NAAC with A grade. Started in 1960, Department of Physics has a long tradition of teaching Physics in the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. In the year 2010, the department has been recognized as a research centre under the University of Calicut. The department is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee this year.
